A LITTLE GIRL WITH A BIG HEART

 About 2 years ago, my daughter deciced she wanted to grow her hair out long.   I reluctantly went along with it ( I did that when I was little too and it was not fun after awhile, my hair was so hard to manage)   This is her today.   A few months ago I mentioned to her that when we cut her hair, we should donate it to "locks of love" She asked what that was and explained it to her.   She says " that's cool, let's do it".


It is now time to cut off that hair!!!!!

So, here is our trip to the hair dresser ( Thank you Salina for being so patient)

Washing the hair is very relaxing!

Ok, now the hair is clean and it's time for the first "CHOP"

OOPS there it is, no going back now!




Now it's time for a styling cut.... She had a picture in her mind of what she wanted and so she drew it out for Salina.

And now for a few last minute touches..............

All done, Bye bye hair she says, I know you will make someone a very happy wig!

We had a really fun time and she really likes her new haircut.   I am very proud of how excited she was to donate her hair to help less fortunate children.
